The term "COMRADE" is widely misunderstood by many, and especially so by Americans. Our chapter's email inbox leaves no doubt about that.

The term is often confused with an attempt to be edgy, a sub-culture label, or some form of larp / costume. It is none of these things for actual socialists (mostly).

Instead, the term "COMRADE" defines a political relationship between two people on the same side of a fight against capital's oppression of the working class. You have friends, acquaintances, co-workers, partners... and if you're a socialist, you also have comrades.
