Join your Denver DSA comrades on September 13, 2026 at the Colorado People's Center for an all-member collective discussion on what a democratic socialist intervention in the 2028 Presidential primary might look like.Hybrid attendance is available via Zoom, but in-person attendance is strongly encouraged if possible.
The 2028 presidential election is perhaps the most consequential question facing the socialist movement right now. DSA has never been stronger, with new socialists in office including Melat Kiros and a membership that just cracked 120,000. And the stakes are high, with the current administration starting “whenever wars” abroad and killing our neighbors in the streets. More and more people are disaffected with both parties and looking to us for leadership. That means the opportunity for our socialist movement to reach masses of regular working people is here.
We're a democratic organization, so we want to know what our members are thinking. DSA's national leadership body, the National Political Committee, will be reviewing input from as many members as possible to help inform their decisions on how to engage with the upcoming 2028 Presidential Primary. That starts with holding thoughtful, strategic discussions and collecting the wide variety of opinions in chapters across the country, including Denver!
This forum is open to all members-in-good-standing of the Denver Democratic Socialists of America. It is closed to press and non-members. If you're not a member, join today! A better world is possible; let's build it together. 🌹
